What’s On In Kent This Week?

With Halloween and Bonfire Night over, this week brings some welcome peace and quiet before the Christmas rush kicks in. But that’s not to say that there aren’t plenty of events to attend this week.

Jazz Supper With Richard Rozze

When: Tuesday 7th November, 7:30pm-10:30pm

Where: Pegwell Bay Hotel, Ramsgate

If you’re a fan of jazz, this is an event you don’t want to miss. You can enjoy live jazz with local and successful guitarist Richard Rozze and the Jazznights Ensemble, whilst tucking into a delicious supper.

Jazz Night Kent

The Kent Police Male Voice Choir

When: Wednesday 8th November, 7:30pm

Where: Rochester Cathedral

If you’re interested to hear what nearly 50 local policemen sound like in a choir, now is your chance to find out. The group will be performing at Rochester Cathedral, and the money they raise will be donated to a charitable cause. So it’s a good event to head to if you appreciate music, and want to support your community and a good cause.

Big Charity Quiz

When: Friday 10th November, 7pm-9pm

Where: Rainham School For Girls

This is another fun charitable event, only this time to raise money for Hi Kent, a local charity for those that are deaf or hard of hearing.

You can enter with a team of up to 6 people, so bring along your friends or family and it’s sure to be a night of good fun and healthy competition. The money you pay to enter will not only be donated to charity, but you’ll also receive a Ploughman’s supper.

The Freewheel Roller Racing Winter Series

This is a monthly event that will take place between November and March, so this month’s event will be the first of the series. Cycling clubs across Kent will be invited to take part, and there are prizes to be won, so it should be a fun event to attend and cheer on local cyclists.

Abbey Patchers Christmas Craft Fair

When: Saturday 11th November, 9am-1pm
