The TV Repair Centre was established at the current premises in 1979 by Mr Dorrald Preece. The business enjoyed many successful years, particularly in the rental and slot meter rental of televisions and video recorders, general repairs and sales of electrical accessories, lamps etc.
As the value of new TV’s and VCR’s fell over time,the company began to focus on the repair and technical expertise needed for today’s vast array of consumer electronic equipment and manufacturers.
The business was acquired in April 2003 by the current owner, Matthew Heinink, and has gone from strength to strength,now dealing with the repair and servicing of a wide variety of electronic equipment in a modern,well equipped workshop staffed by highly qualified and experienced engineers.
