A garden centre in Sevenoaks is planning to put smiles on children’s faces’ when it holds a ‘Summer Toy Event’ next week (Tuesday, August 16).
Polhill Garden Centre, on London Road, is inviting families to its special day where kids can build, draw, and play with toys from some of the store’s biggest brands.
The award-winning garden centre will also be holding colouring competitions, giving away prizes, and face painting took. The Summer Toy Event will take place in the gardens by Novell’s restaurant from 11am to 3pm.
Jenni Seddon, senior digital marketing manager at Polhill Garden Centre, said: “We’re encouraging kids to release their ‘inner creative’ and either dive straight into their favourite brand, start building on our play tables or work through each one to see which one they like best!
“We will have LEGO and Duplo tubs, a CreArt paint table, Brio Railway build areas plus a giant TY Gilda Pink Flamingo, for that all important photo with their creation.
“We will also have a whole host of giveaways during the day, where kids can win some great prizes from the toy brands – it’s not to be missed!”
Polhill Garden Centre was founded in 1964 by father-and-son duo Jim and David Novell and remains a family-run business. The garden centre has grown within that time into a huge shopping village stocking thousands of products from garden furniture and outdoor heating to toys, games, clothes and more.
