New Wellness Clinics launched in Kent

Kent, UK – All Health Matters Ltd has launched new Wellness Clinics in Kent, delivering private health services in the heart of Canterbury, Orpington, and Maidstone. The first services to launch include menopause consultations and ear irrigation.

As an existing, well established health clinic, All Health Matters already offers travel health services and vaccines to private individuals at its Canterbury clinic. The Wellness Clinics expand on these services offering menopause clinics, well-woman medicals, and ear irrigation, with plans to offer well-man medicals and further private health services soon. Wellness services can also be offered in Orpington and Maidstone, new additions to the All Health Matters network.

The company launched Wellness Clinics after noticing an unmet demand for menopause support in Kent. The menopause can be a challenging time for many women, with symptoms ranging from hot flashes and night sweats to mood swings and insomnia. All Health Matters menopause consultations will provide women with the support and guidance they need to manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life.

The well-woman medical service is also a valuable resource for women who want to take control of their health. The service includes a health assessment and blood tests to identify potential health concerns. The clinic’s practitioners can then provide tailored advice on lifestyle changes and preventative measures, referring to NHS services if ongoing medical needs are identified.

Ear irrigation is another service provided by the clinic. This safe and effective procedure is used to remove earwax and other debris from the ear canal. The clinic’s practitioners are trained to provide ear irrigation in a comfortable and hygienic environment, helping patients maintain good ear health.

“We are thrilled to bring these new Wellness Clinics to Kent, and we are excited to offer a range of services that will help people take control of their health,” said Alice Monk, Director of Communications. “We believe in a holistic approach to wellness, and by offering a range of services we hope to make it easier for people to access the support they need.”

All Health Matters is a specialist in occupational health and currently support the health of over 40,000 employees in businesses across the UK. Because of this, the company can make Wellness Clinic services available to corporate clients as well as private individuals. It is hoped that this connection will help more people navigating menopause at work to get the support they need.

The clinics are open to customers from 6th March and appointments can be made online or over the phone.

Menopause presents unique health concerns, but support is not always easy to access. There is still a lack of understanding about menopause and the different types of support available.

  • Around 80% of women experience menopausal symptoms, which can last for several years.
  • A survey conducted by the British Menopause Society found that around 50% of women go through the menopause without consulting a healthcare professional.
  • Despite the fact that menopause is a natural part of every woman’s life cycle, menopause training is not mandatory for GPs. A report from the Fawcett society found that 31% of women who did speak to their GP said it took multiple visits before their GP realised they were experiencing menopause or perimenopause.
