London
London is a go-to day trip for people all over the country, but if you live in Kent, you’re lucky enough to be only a short way, by train or car, from the capital. Depending on where you are in Kent, and where you’re planning on going in London, you can probably reach London in around an hour and a half.
The trains connecting Kent to London are super efficient, and in hardly any time at all you’ll find yourself in the city centre, with some of the country’s best attractions at your fingertips.
Calais
If you’re interested in traveling a little further afield, Calais is the perfect choice. With the channel tunnel handily located in Dover, you can reach France in under two hours, and explore Calais’ shops, beaches, and markets.

Paris
If you now fancy a trip to France, but want to go somewhere where there’s a little more to see and do, Paris is a good choice. It might take a little longer to get to, but you won’t be disappointed.
