Broadstairs
Broadstairs is a great place to road trip to, or to stop off at one your journey, especially if you love beaches.
There are miles and miles of sandy beaches in Broadstairs, so you can build sand castles, bury your family or friends in the sand, relax and sunbathe or even take a dip.
Being a seaside town, there are plenty of great hotels, campsites and seaside resorts, so if you plan on staying for a night or two, you’ll have plenty of choice when it comes to accommodation.
Dover
People travel from all over the world to see the white cliffs of Dover. They’re an impressive sight, even if they’re only down the road from you.
You can also explore the impressive Dover Caste, and even take to the seas on one of Dover’s many ferries.
Canterbury
Canterbury is Kent’s only city, and it’s a beautifully quaint and quintessentially British location. The cobbled streets, medieval architecture and cathedral are enough to keep any history enthusiast busy for days.
And for the shopaholics out there, there are plenty of shops to explore. There’s both big brands and small, locally run boutique shops.
Deal
Deal is another seaside town, but it’s packed full of fun things to do, whether you’re a beach person or not.
There are historic buildings everywhere, giving the town an idyllic feel. There’s also some great beaches, where you can relax, swim, or even take part in water sport activities. There’s also plenty of museums and of course, Deal Castle to explore.
