Christmas is the season for giving, we all get excited about buying our loved ones the perfect gifts. But if you want to give a little more this Christmas, here are some ways you can do and put a smile on someone’s face in the process.

Love in a Box is one of the most magical and charitable Christmas traditions. Schools and workplaces usually encourage this charitable activity, but if you haven’t heard of Love in a Box before, you basically fill a shoe box full of toys and child friendly gifts, wrap it up, and send it to the Mustard Seed Relief Mission.
The charity will then deliver your box, and thousands of others, to under privileged children across Eastern Europe. It’s the perfect way to get creative, and make someone’s Christmas.
Charity Christmas cards
If you’re planning on sending Christmas cards to all the family, this charitable idea is one that won’t take any extra effort.
All you need to do is purchase charity Christmas cards, and use those instead. Then, a percentage of the money you spent on the cards will go to charity.
A letter from Santa
NSPCC are offering personalised letters from Santa for your little ones in exchange for a small donation.
You can decide how much you want to donate, and if you need more than one letter from Santa, they’re more than happy to provide as many as you need.
So for as little as £5, you can support an important charity, and make your youngsters’ Christmas a little more magical at the same time.
Volunteer
Volunteers are always much needed and welcomed at Christmas time. Homeless shelters in particular are always in need of help come the Christmas period, and whatever time you can spare to help out could transform someone’s Christmas.
