What’s On In Kent This Week

It’s the first week of the New Year, so if one of your new year’s resolutions was to get out and about, you’ll be pleased to hear there’s lots on in Kent this week.

Dreamland Icerink and The Frosted Fairground

When: 1st December 2017 – 3rd January 2018, 12pm – 9pm

Where: Dreamland, Margate

Dreamland’s Frosted Fairground has been a major attraction in Kent this winter, but there’s only a short while left before it closes for the year. So this week head down to Dreamland to enjoy the wintery fairground whilst you still can!

If you haven’t yet managed to ice skating this winter, or if you just can’t get enough of it, you’ve also got a couple more days to enjoy Dreamland’s ice rink before it shuts for the year.

Dreamland has one of Kent’s most magical and romantic ice rinks, so it’s a great day out for friends, families, and couples alike.

Roller Racing Winter Series

When: Friday 5th January, 7pm-12am

Where: Freewheel Pub, Faversham

The monthly roller racing event for the winter series will take place this Friday, so if you want to watch and cheer, or even take part in the frantic pedalling and racing, head to the Freewheel Pub.

Mid Kent’s Autojumble

When: Sunday 7th January, 2018, 10am-3pm

Where: Lockmeadow Market, Maidstone

If you want to have a big clear out for the new year, this event could be the perfect way to do it. Anyone is welcome at Mid Kent’s Autojumble at Lockmeadow Market, and for as little as £2.50 you can sell off all of your unwanted clutter.

Triage

When: Sunday 7th January 2018, 3:30pm-5:30pm

Where: Blake’s of Dover

What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than listening to a local folk music trio? At the Blake’s of Dover you can listen to Triage, who will play a range of songs, some well known, others written by them themselves!
