The first few days of advent have been and gone – it’s now acceptable to start fully embracing Christmas! Here’s what’s going on in Kent this week, for those looking to get out and enjoy the festive atmosphere!
Christmas Wine and Chocolate Pairing
Where: Lingfield College

Learn and taste some incredible chocolates and wines, and become an expert at pairing the two. This is both a fun and educational way to spend your Friday evening!
Smarden Christmas Tree Festival
Where: St Michael’s Church, Smarden, Ashford
When: Friday 8th December – Sunday 10th December 2017, 11am – 6pm
Come along to this event and you’ll get to see a whole range of Christmas trees decorated in different ways. Whether you want to get inspiration for your own Christmas decor, or vote on which tree is your favourite, it’s a fun day out for all the family.
There will also be games, activities, stalls, refreshments and even live music to keep you entertained – like a mini Christmas fair!
Traditional Christmas Concert
Where: Frant Church, Nr Tunbridge Wells

If you love listening to Christmas songs, you’ll love Kent Chorus’ Traditional Christmas Concert. You’ll get to hear all your favourites sung by some truly beautiful voices.
One Voice Christmas Singing Workshop
Where: St Luke’s Methodist Church, Rochester
When: Saturday 9th December 2017, 10am-1pm
If you love to sing along to your favourite Christmas songs, this is the perfect event for you. You’ll get to learn some new tunes in this free singing workshop, and there’ll even be the chance for you to perform what you learn at the German Christmas market at the Dockside Outlet Centre.
Cantate’s Christmas Concert
Where: St Mary Kippington Church, Sevenoaks

Kent’s best choir are set to perform both traditional and popular Christmas songs this weekend at their Christmas Concert. You can sit back and enjoy, or join in if you fancy it!
